Privacy policy
Useful Guide is a reading site. You don't create an account, and we don't ask for personal information. This page explains the little that is collected and why.

What's collected when you visit
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., receives the technical information every browser sends: IP address, the page requested, time of visit, referring page, and browser and device type. It's used to serve the site and block attacks. Logs we can access are deleted within 30 days unless they're needed to investigate abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google also receives your IP address when a page loads. See Google's privacy policy.
Cookies
We don't use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site from bots.
Links to providers
Links take you to providers' own websites, which have their own privacy policies. If a link is an affiliate link, the provider or affiliate network may record that you came from us. We don't receive your name or payment details if you buy.
If you email us
We use your email only to reply and delete the conversation once it's resolved, unless the law requires us to keep it.
No selling or sharing
We don't sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, as those terms are used in California and other state privacy laws.
Your rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted ads (which we don't do). Email info@useful-guide.com to make a request. We'll verify the request and respond within 45 days, and you can appeal if we decline. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.
Children
The site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Contact us if you think a child has sent us personal information and we'll delete it.
Updates
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top.
